Alicia Mitchell-Mercer will join a panel discussing Advocacy, Legislative, and Litigation Strategies at this conference hosted by Arizona State University. The conference explores the growing body of evidence about people’s justice experiences and just solutions to everyday legal problems, with a focus on creating an enabling environment for effective and accessible justice work, empowering new kinds of justice workers, and democratizing access to justice.

Mitchell-Mercer moderates IAALS' Redesigning Legal panel to discuss access to justice and why to truly combat the access to justice crisis, it will take an entire ecosystem of legal service providers including community advocates and legal aid community justice workers, along with allied legal professionals.

Alicia Mitchell-Mercer will attend the a convening hosted by the RAND Institute for Civil Justice and the Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession of Stanford Law School.  This gathering  brings leaders from across the country to discuss the current issues and challenges surrounding access to civil justice and learn about policy innovations happening in many states to address these challenges.

S.M. Kernodle-Hodges, Alicia Mitchell-Mercer, and Rachel Royal attend The ABA/NLADA Equal Justice Conference in Dallas, TX. It is an annual gathering of legal services and pro bono advocates to share and learn about developments and innovations in providing legal services to low-income persons. The emphasis of this Conference is on strengthening partnerships among the key players in the civil justice system.
